Let's work together.Coordinate and manage all IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) / IT Disaster Recovery (ITDR) activities within The Standard Information Technology Department and key IT service providers to ensure timely recovery of IT services within business guidelines.Principal Duties & Responsibilities:IT Service Continuity Management:Perform the Process Owner role for the ITSCM / Disaster Recovery (DR) process;Liaise with stakeholders to ensure there is an integrated approach to the design and implementation of IT Service Continuity Management, Business Continuity Management, Information Security Management, Information Technology Operations etc.Partner with Business Continuity Management to validate Business Impact Analyses are performed for all existing and new services and IT DR plans are designed to meet business requirements.Manage all aspects of the continuity plan once executed, including failover recovery to designated secondary location and ultimate restoration to the primary location;Perform risk assessment working closely with the IT Infrastructure Problem and Risk Manager;Manage the development of continuity plans to ensure that the recovery teams understand and strive to achieve recovery objectives;Ensure that the business and all IT personnel are educated to respond appropriately to the invocation of the plans, including ongoing communication and awareness;Uphold and complete IT testing schedule(s) in line with business requirements;Engage in regular reviews of the continuity plans to ensure business requirements are adequately reflected;Negotiate and manage external contracts for any recovery services;Assess the impacts of change in relation to IT Service Continuity/Resilience and continuity plans, including the attendance at CAB meetings when appropriate.Job Specifications:Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, information systems or related field; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degreeExperience: Must have 6 years or more experience in IT Service Continuity/Resilience Management. Experience working with an IT outsourced partner/service provider. Works on problems of diverse scope and complexity. Has a wide range of experience as a skilled specialist of professional field. Requires thorough knowledge of business practices. Strategic and resourceful.Communication, Interaction & Influence Skills: Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple IT teams. Networking contacts are typically across multiple teams and organizations and are frequently outside the company and used to provide or obtain information. Able to influence decisions. Effective team player.People Management: Experience managing onsite and remote staff required. This may include a mix of full-time and/or service provider staff. Responsible for setting clear expectations, managing directly, or through vendor partner(s) the delivery of expectations for service performance.Professional certification preferred (but not required): ITIL accreditation or extensive ITIL experience; Risk Management certificationLI-RemoteNote:The Standard is required to provide a reasonable estimate of thesalaryfor this role when hiring a Colorado resident.
