Successful teammates in this role can and want to pick up new technologies quickly, but wisely know when to stick with the tried and true. Ideal candidates for this position will be someone with experience working directly with customers, who prefers working in a team, and enjoys collaborating with others.Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Contribute to the vision for the team and the platform as technical leader, identifying new and strategic technologies that improve security, scalability, reliability, and performance
• Design, build and support automated provisioning, continuous deployment and telemetry systems that help our teammates work more effectively.
• Mentor up and coming engineers helping them to grow at Under Armour.
• Help put out fires when development teams run into infrastructure related issues.
• Build quality codebases through a process of personal and peer-reviewed development.Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
  • Experience with AWS commonly used services is required.
  • Experience with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes at a mid to senior level is required
  • Scripting ability in Bash and another language like Python, Ruby or Go
  • Experience with at least one configuration management or provisioning frameworks like Terraform, SaltStack, Puppet, Ansible, or Chef
  • Experience administering CI/CD solutions like Jenkins, CircleCI, Gitlab, Github Actions, or Spinnaker
  • Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Ability to work efficiently in Git
  • Experience with Linux or Unix-based infrastructure
  • Fundamental knowledge of networking, storage, and compute
  • Experience with GitOps tooling such as Flux is a plus.
  • Experience with VPN, VPC, Transit Gateways, IPSEC is a plusEducation And / Or Experience
    • 2-3 years of experience working with Kubernetes and AWS
