Compass Senior Living is a Senior Housing Company located in Eugene Oregon, serving more than thirty Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care communities in ten states.A qualified candidate for this position will assist with the management of the company's finance department by providing excellent customer service while taking on such tasks as processing, reconciling, and remitting checks and payments. • Updating and maintaining records of expenditures
• Sending out payments for company credit-cards
• Responding to vendor invoices
• Ensuring that all payments are sent on time
• Resolving payment discrepancies and disputes on behalf of the company
• Posting payments to customer accounts
• Processing Automated Clearing House payments
• Organizing and filing deposit receipts as invoices are paid
• Preparing reports on delinquent accounts and customer payment profiles
• Reconciling cash receipts and deposits
• Analyzing financial records for accuracy
• Assisting with payroll duties and special projects when needed
• 1099 reporting
• Extraordinary customer service to team members, customers, vendors, partners, etc.Qualifications
  • Applicant must be detail-oriented with a critical eye for accuracy
  • Must be able to work under tight deadlines, with flexibility
  • Should be able to deal with difficult, sensitive and confidential issues
  • Overall understanding of accounting, and management reporting systems
  • Strong organizational, time management and prioritization abilities
  • Willingness and ability to work well in a team setting
  • Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office programs preferredBenefits
