We are seeking a "new bee" to join our Information Technology team, in support of our technology support needs. As an IT Technical Support Specialist, you will be the primary internal point of contact for IT related initiatives and day to day end user support. That could entail setting up hardware, administering systems and user access, troubleshooting system and software issues, acting as a liaison between team members and third-party vendors, resolving tickets, and creating user-friendly training materials. The ideal candidate will have a customer service mindset and thrives in an environment of learning and collaborative problem-solving. The position is located in Eugene, Oregon, and could involve work at either of our two facilities. Hours for this full time hourly paid role would typically be Monday through Friday during the day, although there may be times when additional support during odd hours are needed. Typical job duties may include: + Defines, implements, and maintains IT operating processes (asset management, remote and local support, office setup, etc.) + Installs, troubleshoots, and maintains hardware and software + Consults with users across the organization to determine appropriate individual user/team hardware and software needs; identifies and recommends solutions that meet user/organizational needs for technology + Coordinates on IT projects as needed and ensures company resources are utilized appropriately and employee impact is minimized + Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project + Resolves tickets representing user-generated technical requests or problems and troubleshoots technical and process issues to maintain productivity + Creates, maintains, and upgrades the Technology Knowledge Base and resources (IT FAQs, Key Resources, etc.) at GloryBee to make finding technology answers efficient and effective + Administrates licensing, configuration, and content of existing applications, along with testing for functionality (SharePoint, 8x8, O365, Adobe, etc.) + Administers and maintains end user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory + Creates user accounts and mailboxes in Microsoft Exchange + Manages user access on file servers + Administers phone system + Provides on-call support and problem resolution for applications What We Are Looking For: + Associate's or bachelor's degree strongly preferred, in Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field; along with 2+ years of related experience with desktop support, IT administration or similar technology support related positions; additional work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree + Working knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including Windows + Experience and demonstrated proficiency in Windows 10 and Office 365 a plus + Time-management skills and the ability to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines for resolution + Relevant experience in a customer focused position involving technical knowledge + Supporting users in a medium sized company (100+ users) + Professional written and verbal communication skills + Excellent rapport building and interpersonal skills Why You Should Join GloryBee: + Dynamic, forward thinking company that is passionate about healthy living, sustainability and quality, natural ingredients and products + Rewards and recognition for superior performance + Collaborative environment fostering teamwork and accountability + Opportunity to work for a company that positively impacts people's lives + Exceptional benefits program including medical, dental and vision, along with healthy living reimbursements, generous 401(k) match, competitive paid time off and liberal holiday schedules + You will be embraced by company culture that is very much that of a community and acquire 120+ new team members + Visit our website to learn more https://glorybee.com/careers We are tobacco and drug free (to include marijuana) at GloryBee.
