Job Description:
Overview:The Day Treatment Supervisor/Therapist works as a
leader within a multidisciplinary team to further the emotional,
behavioral, and educational development of children within the day
treatment program. The Supervisor/Therapist provides leadership and
training of milieu staff and monitors implementation of
evidence-based practices within the program. The
Supervisor/Therapist communicates all agency policies and
procedures to program staff and assists with implementation. The
Supervisor/Therapist directly manages the performance of staff; to
include supervision for assigned staff as well as evaluations. The
Supervisor/Therapist is also responsible for providing therapy
services to youth within the day treatment program. These services
include milieu, individual, group and family
therapy.Responsibilities:Supervisor ResponsibilitiesOversee daily
routines and schedules for the day treatment program.Coordinate
yearly program calendar.Ensure client to staff ratio is maintained
during program day and coordinate adequate daily program
staffing.Provide supervision to all assigned staff in accordance
with OARs.Maintain and enforce all clinical standards in accordance
with Medicaid regulations and Family Solutions policies.Collect
data as requested by the Quality Systems Director.Attend and
participate in Supervisors Meetings.Assist in screening of program
referrals for appropriateness of program admission. Coordinate
intake process for all youth in program.Facilitate and document
staff meetings.Oversee client treatment review meetings.Implement
and monitor evidenced-based practices in the program.Provide
emergency crisis services as indicated. Work in collaboration with
on-site educational team.Provide assistance to alternate day
treatment program supervisor, as indicated.Coordinate and maintain
professional communication and case coordination with all involved
agencies, public school personnel and other community
partners.Responsible for hiring, training and maintaining program
staff.Monitor staff's work schedules including approving PTO and
timecards via Stratustime.Provide annual performance evaluations
for staff; coordinate performance improvement plans, as
indicated.Provide program orientation to all new staff.Communicates
with the Clinical Development Director about program developments
and needs.Obtain, coordinate and supervise student interns.Maintain
high ethical standards with regard to treatment and client
confidentiality.Address complaints submitted by persons served in
accordance with agency policy and procedures.Therapist
ResponsibilitiesEstablish and maintain therapeutic relationships
with clients and families.Provide individual, group, and family
therapy to assigned caseload on a regularly scheduled basis.Fulfill
all clinical documentation expectations in accordance with Medicaid
regulations and Family Solutions policies regarding record
keeping.Provide on-going assessment of client progress toward
stated goals and facilitate treatment review meetings for assigned
caseload.Provide crisis services to clients as indicated.Provide
milieu coverage, as needed.Maintain professional communication and
case coordination with all community partners.Maintain high ethical
standards with regard to treatment and client
confidentiality.Establish and maintain appropriate relationships
with other members of the treatment team and community
partners.Participate meaningfully in clinical supervision,
training, and other assigned agency meetings.Attend community
partner meetings (i.E., ODHS, SOESD, Options, JCC) and other
community partner meetings as
applicable/assigned.Qualifications:Salary Range: $55,318-$70,379
AnnuallyMust meet QMHP (Masters Degree) criteria and have 2 years'
postgraduate experience. If not licensed, must be able to obtain
CESIS license. Must be able to clear a background check conducted
through ODHS. Must have valid driver's license and four years of
satisfactory driving history. Physically fit to the degree that,
after training, can physically restrain youth as
