provider that strives to support our community.Willamette Family's
Child Development Center (CDC) is located within one of our
residential substance abuse programs.The CDC is accessible to
parents who are participating in Willamette Family services. The
Willamette Family Child Development Center (CDC) is licensed by the
Child Care Division of the State of Oregon and is the only program
of its kind in Lane County. Inclusive classrooms offer a nurturing
environment and are designed to address the developmental and
specific needs of children from 6 weeks through 6 years of age
within their specific age group.The CDC has been awarded a 5 Star
in the QRIS/SPARK program. Spark, formerly known as Oregon's
Quality Rating and Improvement System or QRIS, is a statewide
program that raises the quality of child care across the
state.Current Teaching Openings:Assistant TeacherLead
TeacherCompensation: $17-$22/hr. Depending on qualifications and
experienceSigning Bonus: $3000.00 Signing Bonus; Paid in two
increments $1500.00 after Initial Hire and $1500.00 at the
successful completion of the 6-month evaluation period.Employee

- and more!Requirements:Minimum Qualifications:
- One year or more of experience in a certified early childhood
program 6mo-6yrs
- Currently Enrolled in the Oregon Child Care Division's Criminal
Background Registry (CBR)
- Enrolled in the Oregon Registry Online and possess a step
number (Step 9 or higher)
- COVID 19 Vaccination proof or valid religious or medical
exception
- Pre-employment Drug Screening (including Cannabis/THC)Preferred
Qualifications:
- Assistant Teachers: Prefer an Associate's Degree in Early
Childhood Education (ECE), CDA, CCP, or other Associates degree in
a related field.
- Lead Teachers: Prefer a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Early
Childhood Education (ECE) or other Bachelor's degree or higher in a
related field.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to apply early childhood development (focusing on
infant/toddler/preschool) theory in daily activities and adapt to
the individual needs of children.
- Ability to supervise and monitor children at all times to
ensure a safe environment (includes the physical ability to monitor
and appropriately respond to children who are very active and may
need redirection with occasional lifting up to 35 lbs.).
- Ability to work as a team member collaborating with staff,
parents, and community resources.
- Frequent significant decision-making and problem-solving
abilities (includes the ability to respond appropriately to an
emergency or a crisis situation).
- Adequate written and verbal communication skills.
- Intermediate to advanced technology skills or willingness to
learn (such as computer, internet, e-mail, iPad, etc.)EQUAL
