The ideal candidate will have an established book of real estate and lending institution contacts, a firm grasp of industry trends, and a proven track record of matching lenders and mortgage products to potential borrowers. Responsibilities:

Submit application file to lenders in order to apply on the homeowners' behalf
Research competitive mortgage rates and interest rates, and negotiate terms to find ideal mortgage product and lender for potential borrowers
Obtain documentation to determine creditworthiness, such as background checks, applicant's credit history, income and employment verification, and verification of assets and liabilities
Counsel applicants and home buyers on various loan products, buying or refinance process, prospective lenders, and lending guidelines
Collaborate with the real estate agent, lender's underwriting department, other mortgage professionals, and closing agent to ensure a smooth transaction


Qualifications:

Have a strong understanding of loan products and loan process from origination to close
Independently resourceful mindset with excellent communications, analysis, and time-management skills
Previous experience with MS office and loan origination software
A current NMLS license or National Association of Mortgage Broker licensure or certification is required

--- Minimum loan production volume of at least $6M a year
--- Requires 2 years of mortgage loan origination or loan officer experience
--- Salary is based on average loan origination volume and commissioned base. Salary may vary based on loan production
--- Specific to Florida and Georgia licensed Loan Officers
