Stellantis's Software Organization (SWx) was established to build the most captivating experiences in the latest frontier of Automotive Technology. Position Summary: Stellantis has over 12M connected cars on road today and this is expected to reach 34M by 2030. Leader described here is a key stakeholder with primary technical responsibility for evangelizing, developing, and launching the Connectivity solutions and the integration platform. The lead here will also build technical competence, drive strategy and partnership with Connectivity partners globally covering Mobile Networks, Satellite Connectivity solutions. Lead is responsible for developing the cutting-edge next generation solution leveraging industry best practices from the consumer space including agile development, delivery and hardware agnostic software solutions. The vision of the leader shall extend towards creating Network EDGE platforms that can expand the capabilities of the car by bringing elastic EDGE based storage and compute services through partners. The scope of the Mobile Network platform includes not only integration with 3rd party MNO platforms but extends towards creating a powerful platform for onboarding, billing, managing and transitioning customers globally. This is pivotal for being able to roll out and sell Connectivity through Services. The leader is also responsible for Hardware integration with several Telematics and Connectivity enabler products within the company including technologies such as 4G, 5G, V2X, etc. The leader is responsible for orchestrating an engineering team that will comprise architects, product owners and hardware and software engineers. leader will work closely with a combination of both internal and external teams to realize the delivery. Identifying the common platform core components across variants and developing them in common streams.Manage deliveries within time and budget to the respective milestones.Manages 5 year roadmap for the product vertical while making weekly high quality software deliveries, 1. Managing Technology Work streamsOrganizing and managing several work-streams focusing on technology componentsOperating each of the workstream with workstream leads and team members in an agile wayOften these teams comprise team members who are not directly belonging to the reporting line2. Orchestrating complex engineering deliveryStreamlining the development process to deliver to large scale programs that span for 2-3 yearsBring expertise on Estimation, Planning, Delivery, Testing, Qualification, Quality, MaintenanceManage resource and budget estimations for the programs that are cross geographic in natureDevelop the project in an agile model with a high degree of control on estimationsManage the deliveries from different branches towards different lines of deploymentBe the owner for delivering to the vehicle lines with the needed software deliveries across different milestonesManage requirements baseline, feature backlog for the product vertical 3.
