Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers for members in the branch or on the telephone.
  • Adhere to the Credit Union's member privacy policy and appropriately verify members and accounts according to Credit Union expectations. Maintain member account information on Credit Union computer systems and insure that appropriate and accurate records are maintained. Preserve confidentiality and integrity in all interactions.
  • Understand Oregon Community Credit Union's products and services and recommend services based on the members needs. Actively contribute to branch and Credit Union goals by participating in sales campaigns and community events. Meet or exceed individual sales goals, using effective sales techniques that result in a positive experience for the member.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions. Balance cash drawer and daily transactions. Balance vault and cash dispensers, when necessary.
  • Support other functions within the branch by performing a variety of miscellaneous tasks including cleaning and maintaining work areas and assisting co-workers when needed.
  • Make outbound warm and cold calls to members, which may be informative or sales in nature.
  • Must follow all BSA regulations, including completing CTR reports when applicable, reporting suspicious activity via SAR when applicable and completing annual training.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. Job Expectations:

  • To be accurate in all work performed. Accuracy is key to providing exceptional member service.
  • Ability to function independently in a multi-task environment and also as part of a team.
  • To stay up to date with product, procedure, and other pertinent changes. To attend and complete training that enhances ones ability to perform his or her job.
  • To keep track of ones schedule and to attend work and meetings as scheduled and on-time. Experience: Up to six months of similar or related experience. Education: Equivalent to a high school education.   • Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and to talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
  • Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
