GENERAL SUMMARY This role's primary responsibility is to leverage prior experience delivering U.S. residential mortgage origination, acquisition and investor delivery software capabilities with software product development teams and agile lifecycles, to help support feature development activities for LoanLogics products. This role is a mix of internal and customer facing and will work across the Product team to elaborate market/business requirements from Product Management into appropriate product and feature level artifacts, including user stories, functional designs, workflows, use case scenarios, and the like. You will also help to manage these requirements through their iterations in an Agile product development lifecycle, providing clear definitions of "Done" and corresponding "Acceptance Criteria" for requirements. Of additional importance is supporting the team's ability to translate these functional requirements into solution specifications via technical architecture schematics, design artifacts, wireframes/mock-ups and the like where possible. The role understands the business requirements and processes of target customers, and how they fit into the overall product direction and purpose, such to translate them into particular software feature and functionality requirements. This role serves as a vital liaison between the business/market subject matter experts and the Software Development team, helping to drive extraordinary products. This role is a critical part of the Agile/SCRUM team responsible for executing software development sprints. This role will develop a deep understanding of LoanLogics Products and its functional capabilities, achieved by working closely with the product and the team, and by discussing it with internal stakeholders on a continuous basis. The Sr. Business Analyst will assist the product owner with prioritization of enhancements in the product release prioritization queues, calibrating timing of enhancements across various release prioritization queues to ensure the various features are fully supported across systems. In addition, assist the product owner with design walkthroughs and impact assessment for our clients so their business goals are either met or their expectations managed. When major features are released, the Sr. Business Analyst will assist the Product Owner to communicate the new capabilities to product marketing, sales and account management so go to market efforts are successful. In addition, there will be opportunities to assist marketing with their campaign development and execution including participation in webinars with prospects KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Documents Epics, User Stories, and related requirements in conjunction with other team members. * Elaborates and documents associated Acceptance Criteria and "Definition of Done" for the Agile teams. * Clearly prioritizes requirements for the development team, across must have/should have/ and could have. * Validates completed user stories and determines acceptance/rejection and their "Done" status. * Supports production of content to support testing, documenting and training on the product. * Owns and manages the details of the product, the functionality, and most importantly the specific problems and use cases to be supported. * Drives requirements development/elaboration, including release scoping/planning and managing/continuous grooming of backlogs. * Documents Epics, User Stories, and related requirements in conjunction with Product Analysts and other product team members. * Designs and documents work flow(s) and use case scenarios for assigned product(s). * Sr. Business Analyst will assist the product owner with release management. * Participate in design walkthroughs and impact assessment for our clients so their business goals are met or expectations managed. * Participate in go-to market efforts with product marketing, sales, marketing and account management. * Be an evangelist for the product by assisting sales and account management with support efforts. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED * At least 3 years of experience in a similar role. * Bachelor's Degree Preferred or equivalent of 5 years' work experience, * High school diploma required WORKING CONDITIONS The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
