We are working with an established full-service general contractor
and restoration company, doing business in the Willamette Valley
since 1996. They offer all aspects of remodeling and construction,
both commercial and residential. They specialize in restoring
buildings that have been damaged by fire, water, flood, storm and
mold. They are fast paced, hard working, and never bored. Our
client is founded on a commitment to immediate response recovery
and restoration in emergencies, complete customer satisfaction, and
the highest industry standards. Candidates should have basic
computer skills, be familiar with Word, Excel and XACTIMATE.
Qualifications:
---IICRC WRT Certification for Lead Technicians
---High school diploma or GED
---Must own standard hand tools and power tools
---Comfortable with technology
---Good mechanical and problem-solving skills
---Good verbal communication skills & ability to follow
instructions
---Ability to work with minimal supervision
---Ability to work independently or as part of a team
---History of being punctual, having good work attendance, and
mutual team respect
---Reliable with a strong work ethic
---Knowledge of building codes and practices
---Organized and well rounded in all aspects of construction
---Ability to be on call at least 1 week a month
---Ability to work out of town with advanced notice
---Ability to work in an environment subject to fluctuations in
heat, humidity, fumes, odors, dust, and noise
---Must have reliable transportation to work
---Must be able to work 40+ hours per week
---Must be able to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing
environment without sacrificing quality
---Ability to work with customers who are dealing with difficult
situations
---Driver's License (Required)
Responsibilities:
---Assist Water Mitigation Lead with water damages, fires, and
smoke
---Assess priorities to assist with new and existing losses
---Perform water extraction, remedial demolition and drying
---Ensure all employees are following safety requirements at job
sites
---Learn other skills and trades as jobs require
---Able to switch tasks easily and without frustration
---Actively problem solve and bring solutions to Project Managers
and Project Coordinator
---Ability to meet deadlines and to give accurate timelines for
tasks
---Walkthrough jobs and be able to give an accurate material
list
---Ensure all proper paperwork is filled out and turned into the
Project Coordinator
---Able to communicate effectively and efficiently with adjusters
and management
