Powell Veterinary Center in Portland Oregon is looking for a Lead Veterinary Technician to join their team!If you have a passion for leading others and driving progression in a veterinary practice, we want you to join our team!Put your extraordinary supervisory and technical skills to work as a Lead Veterinary Technician for a bold and progressive veterinary company.The preferred candidate will have at least 1 year of leadership experience, a licensed technician, at least 3 years of veterinary technical experience, and a flexible/open work schedule.In addition to standard LVT skills, some of the duties of the Lead Veterinary Technician include:-Maintaining a positive work environment-Managing other technicians-Training technicians and concierge team members-Following and enforcing Standard Operating Procedures-Making work schedules-Attending meetings-Reviewing staff timesheets-Troubleshooting repairs-Inventory and ordering-Hiring of employees-Staff evaluations-Oversee day-to-day operations of the clinic-Be site leader of the clinicSuperior communication skills and a fair-minded disposition are necessary for this role.Here are a few of the reasons you'll enjoy coming to work every day: Competitive pay/ quarterly and anniversary bonuses up to 50k!
