Senior Architect

Location: Naperville, IL, United States or Remote

Fulltime with Client

Role: Lead Architect



Essential Functions:



" Having accountability for product level architecture blueprints that align with the business vision and portfolio guidance.

" Producing high level architecture artifacts for features involving new functionality or major changes to existing systems, as well as reviewing other architects high level architecture artifacts for consistency and adherence to architectural strategy and patterns.

" Having accountability for integration architecture with TriZetto and third-party products through collaboration with product teams and vendors.

" Assisting development teams during application development with research and architectural spikes, technical design, patterns and best practices.

" Staying abreast of relevant technologies and their potential impact or opportunity as it applies to the product.

" Documenting and mentoring development team associates on new adopted technologies.



Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline. An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be taken into consideration in lieu of a degree.



Required Experience:

" 4+ years of experience as a software architect responsible for product-level architectural design.

" Significant experience working in complex heterogeneous hardware and software environments.

" Significant amount of well-rounded work experience, moving beyond engineering and design craftsmanship and into the realm of product architecture, while developing an understanding of overall solution architecture.



Desired Experience:

" Healthcare experience



Behavioral Competencies:

" Good written and verbal communication skills.



Technical Competencies:

" Proficiency with Python Django, Angular, and MongoDB

" Strong knowledge of architecture principles, styles, design patterns and best practices.

" Ability to diagram software systems and discuss complex technical issues with internal and external stakeholders.
