Job Description:

Our Generator Technicians service, repair and install prime and standby power. These technicians are a vital part to the life and safety of many people, organizations and communications. Essential Functions:

• Value safety over and above all other considerations
• Repair and Service all Makes and Models of Generator Sets
• Trouble shoot problems on all equipment using test equipment, tools, service manuals and service bulletins.
• Troubleshoot Equipment and Generator Components including Alternators, Wiring Harnesses, Safety Devices, and Battery Systems
• Apply proper Engine Technical Skills in Inspection, Failure Analysis, Assembly, Diagnosis, and Operating Performance Tests
• Identify the Problem and Cause of Failure through Logical Troubleshooting Steps, Determine Corrective Action through Inspection
• Repair and Troubleshoot Engines such as Cummins, Detroit Diesel, John Deere, MTU and Volvo Qualifications:
  • Possess the desire to read, comprehend, and carry out instructions
  • Confident to work independently under limited supervision
  • Longs to provide communication and customer service that is white-glove -
  • Craves perfection in the details -
  • Aspires to be a Self-starter, team player, and results oriented Physical Demands:
    • Must be at least 18 years old, have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record
    • Takes pride in being good physical condition with the ability to stoop, crawl, bend at the knees and waist, squat and lift 50 lbs.; includes body weight, equipment, tools and boxes
    • Able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing
