Role Overview
The VP of Sales is responsible for driving profitable top line revenue growth. Responsible for all sales activities, this individual will mentor, develop, and manage sales personnel, approved distributors/government agencies, and marketing for each assigned business group. Development and motivation of sales personnel to meeting annual budget is expected. The VP of Sales is a true player/coach and will lead by example and set the tone for the team through individual sales performance that will set the pace. This position reports directly to the President/CEO.


  • Achieve and/or exceed annual revenue budget for team and individuals in each assigned business group
  • Lead a performance driven environment on all required core metrics and reporting; inclusive of pipeline, bookings, revenue, quarterly board meetings, etc.
  • Manage individual and team activities through proper and timely use of CRM system and strategic sales techniques such as opportunity and pipeline management
  • Drive expansion opportunities with new customers, markets, and industry developments. Take advantage of possible opportunities that can occur to advance the company
  • Forecast bookings on monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Guide and direct the work of other senior leaders, and sales managers
  • Lead a performance driven environment on all required core metrics
  • Develop successful sales channel partners; manage and monitor their selling activity
  • Develop and implement annual company sales plan that addresses growth opportunities by channel and geographic market
  • Lead sales team in targeting and pursuing company-wide business opportunities
  • Train and manage existing and future sales staff
  • Supervise, motivate, and monitor team performance
  • Contact potential and existing customers by telephone, fax, or e-mail to qualify leads and to sell products and services
  • Liaise with Director of Operations to ensure correct fulfillment of customer orders
  • Build and sustain relationships with existing customers by focusing on long-term customer development
  • Emphasize salable features, quotes prices, and prepares sales orders for orders obtained
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of the Company's products
  • Directly interface and guide Marketing to meet strategic objectives
  • Travel with purpose to high potential customers and attend trade shows
  • Solicit for potential new business through sales leads or personnel investigations of the sales market in assigned territory
  • This position has remote capabilities. This candidate must effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse range of people and job functions via phone, email, Teams, Zoom, etc.

      Physical Requirements

      • Ability to lift/ move up to 50 pounds of material without assistance. Ability to lift over 50 pounds with assistance from others.

      • Ability to travel up to 50% of available time
      • Ability to work in austere environments
      • Ability to travel internationally legally


        • Requires bachelors degree in business or equivalent of training and experience, plus 5 years experience in personal protective equipment (PPE) product sales
        • Proven success in leading high-performance teams in a metrics-based environment, while achieving results through others
        • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Access
        • Must demonstrate considerable knowledge of all Company products.
        • Formal sales and negotiation training is highly preferred
        • Ability to enter DoD installations with sponsored access at a minimum
