ELECTRICAL ASSEMBLER: Level OneReports To: Production SupervisorOVERVIEW An electrical assembler at Kinetics Equipment Solutions Group will use a variety of tools and equipment to assemble electrical components of our tools based on schematics. They will use said schematics to gather parts and tools required and fabricate or assemble the components. They will also be required to position electrical assemblies for integration into larger portions of the systems we build. In addition to schematics, the employee will complete the tasks below under direct supervision, applying all additional written and verbal instructions.POSITION DETAILSAn Electrical Assembler 1 will be required to do all of the following:Work as part of a team to fabricate and assemble electrical components of a systemUse computer programs to open and print schematicsRead numbers and measurements on schematicsUse schematics to fabricate and assemble components of a systemPrep multiple sizes and styles of cables for electrical connectionComplete Ferrule Crimping, Device Service Loops, Ring and Fork InstallationInstall cables and wires in systems according to Mega safety and quality standardsLabel cables and wires according to Mega safety and quality standardsMaintain Safe and Clean work environment in a 5 S work systemConserve resources by using equipment and supplies correctlyAdhere to KESG's standards of safety and quality at all timesDocument safety and quality actions and observations when requiredFlexibility and understanding that all staff may be required to perform duties outside their normal area of expertise to meet the mission and goals of a project and/or the companyQUALIFICATIONSPrevious experience reading electrical assembly schematics, or ability to quickly learnPrevious experience assembling and/or fabricating electrical parts using shielded and non-shielded wirePrevious experience adhering to Safety and Quality demands while working in a production facilityAbility to deal with changing priorities on a daily basisAbility to work closely with a team of other assemblersHigh School Diploma or EquivalentPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to stand for long periods of timeAbility to engage in detailed work requiring continuous fine motor skills, some repetitive motion, use arms and hands in a steady form for long periods of timeAbility to hear, read, and speak EnglishAbility to see, read, and interpret electrical schematics and drawings in EnglishLifting a minimum of 15lbs. required, generally below 30lbs. without significant repetitionsWORKING CONDITIONSWarehouse environmentShift work including days, evenings, or weekends depending on scheduling needsCompensation details: 21-25 Yearly SalaryPIa717f1b8e626-37820-37377379
